As I get older I just can’t seem to lose weight as fast and as easily as I used to. The weight loss diet that works for me, out of the many that I have tried, is eating low carb. I find this diet is easy to follow.
They’re no calories to count. I don’t always have to cook a separate meal for myself, I can just eat whatever is low carb in the family meal.
I also shop differently, I do not buy as much of the starchy junk food that our family is used to eating.
I do not refrain from eating any fruits or veggies. I do treat myself to an occasional meal that has starch in it, but no more than twice a week. It should really be less than that.
I Can Eat What I Like
With a low carb meal, you don’t have to sacrifice the flavor and since I’m a big meat eater, it’s the perfect diet for me. I am satisfied with eating bacon and eggs for breakfast with a cup of coffee.
I can totally skip the muffin or bread. This might not be as easy to do for someone else. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good french toast bake. But, I can do without it.
Helps Reduce My Sugar Cravings
We are different and we should do what works best for us. Trying different things was the way I found what worked for me. I normally eat a lot of carbs so cutting back on any amount of carbs was obviously going to work out for me. I do suffer from a sugar addiction, which causes me to feel hungrier, this diet helps me with that as well.
Reduction In Cellulite
I also noticed that when I lose weight on this diet, I see a reduction in cellulite. On other diets, I did not see a reduction in cellulite like I do on a low carb diet. I believe it has to do with the fat that is stored from the carbs. But I’m no expert.
