Eliminate Stretch Marks with These Tips

Even though pregnancy is a wonderful event, formation of stretch marks can ruin it a bit. Our bodies are changing from time to time, and stretch marks are the example of that. But, that doesn’t have to worry you – there are some ways to eliminate stretch marks.

There are a variety of reasons why stretch marks may appear. When the body is expanding, the skin has to follow. Although the skin can be elastic, it has its own limits, so after breaking the point of its own expansibility skin gets torn, innermost skin actually, leaving behind blood vessels much more exposed. At first, those lines are red and purple color. As the time goes by, they get silver and white tones and they are much harder to get rid of.

It is well known that hydrated skin is more elastic than dry, so it is more likely for stretch marks to appear on the dry skin.

These kinds of people are more likely to develop stretch marks

Overweight people, pregnant women, teenagers, people who are on a low-calorie diet, people who use hormones, women who have menopause, bodybuilders, ones who have constant weight change.

As the stretch marks appear due to loss of collagen and elastin, it’s very important to keep your skin hydrated, keep your weight on a normal level, exercise on a regular basis and eat a well-balanced diet.
