- Two tablespoons of turmeric
- 400 grams of onion
- One liter of water
- Ginger root (about one inch)
- 400 grams of honey or sugar
How to prepare it:
Put honey (sugar) and water into pan and bring them to boiling point. If you chose honey, add it at the end of process. Chop the onions. Take the ginger and grate it. Add these two into the water/honey mixture. When the mixture starts boiling again, add two teaspoons of turmeric powder and lower the heat.
Keep simmering the mixture until it reduces by 50%. Remove it from the cooker, strain it and let the remedy cool down. When it is cooled down – on room temperature, pour it in a glass jar and keep it in the fridge. Consume it twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, always before meal. Take 2 tablespoons each time.
