When Trevor Smith was diagnosed with bladder cancer, he was 52 years old. The doctors didn’t give him too much time, but he went beyond every expectation and beat cancer.
Trevor was told that he needs all three conventional treatments – radiation, chemotherapy and surgery in a process of the prostate, balder and lymph nodes removal.
His life expectancy after surgery would be only 2 years, and he would be incontinent for up to a year and also impotent.
His wife, Carol Smith was not satisfied with this treatment and she did some research herself in order to save her husband’s life.
“Fear is a terrible thing, and fear is ripe when we hear the word Cancer,” writes Carol, “Our belief system does not have to be locked. We can open up our minds to think for ourselves, inform ourselves and learn to not just accept our ‘fate’.”
Trevor went through a list of tests, such as blood test that helped him use proper diet, vitamins and supplements. He also monitored his health trough conventional tests, like MRI.
He drank Essiac tea and changed his diet. Trevor ate small amounts of chicken and fish and eliminate sugar, white flour, and all kinds of dairy. Also, he added big doses of vitamins C, K2, B17, D3 and detoxification supplement called DHEA.
In the end, Carol decided to add cannabis oil to Trevor’s medical treatment. “It felt like I was going into the unknown, but the cannabis oil changed things for the better,” said Trevor according to Derby Telegraph, “When doctors told me I had gone into remission, I was lost for words.”
After that, Carol wrote her post. “[It] is shocking that we are led to believe that there is no cure for Cancer; our story is living proof there is another way, and I am now consumed with only getting the word out that Cancer does not need to mean death,” writes Carol.
Trevor refused to use radical surgery that would eliminate his prostate and bladder. Instead of that he used alternative treatments and found himself in a cancer-free environment. His wife Carol wrote all about her husband’s path to a cancer-free life in the book “Taking Control”.
