When it comes to cracked heels, there’s nothing your beloved flip-flops will do to cover it all up. What you should do is turn around towards fixing the problem, and we’ve got some home remedies right here for you and your cracked heels!
1. Vegetable oil
As soon as you clean and dry your feet completely, put on a single layer of vegetable oil only on the cracked parts of your feet. Also put on a clean pair of socks and leave it like that over the night. In the morning, wash it all off and repeat for up to five days to get smooth feet.
2. Banana and avocado foot mask
When it comes to the banana itself, take its pulp and put it on the cracked parts, leave it like that for ten minutes and wash it off.
A foot mask with a ripe banana and an avocado requires blending both the ingredients together and applying the paste over your feet.
3. Paraffin wax
Mix it with mustard or coconut oil. Heat the mixture until the wax melts. As soon as it cools off, apply it over your feet. As the first remedy, the best result comes from applying this overnight. Don’t forget to wash off in the morning!
All you need to do is mix a cup of honey to half a bucket of warm water and soak your feet in that. After it, make sure to scrub off gently.
5. Rice flour
Take up to three tablespoons of rice and make a thick paste using honey and apple cider vinegar as well. Soak your feet in warm water before scrubbing them with this paste.
6. Olive oil
Virgin olive oil is by far the best one out there, as it gets you to your smooth heels very quickly. Apply it with a cotton ball and massage your feet for up to 15 minutes. Put on a pair of thick socks immediately after this and wash off after no more than an hour. Afterwards, take one tablespoon of olive oil, lemon oil and water and mix it all up and apply it to your feet a few times a day.
