3 Homemade Drinks that Speed Up Your Metabolism

Garlic and red wine

This drink boosts your metabolism but also helps with other conditions. It strengthens your immune system, eliminates fats from your blood, takes care of your heart, and cures women’s reproductive system.

Ingredients:

  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 1/2l of red wine (homemade wine can be used also)

How to prepare:

Cut the cloves in quarter, put in a glass bottle and pour wine in it. Keep the bottle for 15 days in warm place (sunny side of your window) and shake it two or three times a day. Take one teaspoon of this mixture 3 times a day for a whole month.

Green tea with citrus

Ingredients:

  • 1l of boiled water
  • 5 teabags of green tea
  • 1 orange or grapefruit
  • Handful of fresh mint

How to prepare:

Put the teabags into boiled water, let them sit for 3 minutes, then take them out and leave the tea to cool down. Peel the orange and cut in pieces. Pour into a glass bottle and add mint. Leave the drink in the fridge over the night. Filter it before drinking it 3 times a day, prior a meal.

Ceylon cinnamon and honey drink

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. of honey
  • 1 tbsp. of Ceylon cinnamon
  • 250ml of water

How to prepare:

Pour boiled water over the cinnamon and leave to cool down. Add honey when the water is cooled. Drink the half of amount before going to sleep and the other half in the morning but don’t warm the drink.
