This nice grandpa went into retirement for 95 years and he did all kinds of things in his life, he even served in World War II as a doctor. “You know how people will say they had ‘their call’ to something? I felt that I was actually called to be a doctor,” Wareham told FoxNews.com. “There had never been any question in my mind about this.”

Even though he is over 100 years old, Wareham does all gardening work in his back yard and climb up and down the stairs in his home without any help.

His call made him take real and up close look at all the consequences of bad habits because as a surgeon, he saw many times seen the heart, blood vessels and lungs destroyed by food, smoking, lack of sleep and lack of movement.

The rest of the day, this respected doctor spends time with the family and exercise.

Thanks to this lifestyle, Ellsworth has stopped working operations at 74 years, two years later than the law requires, and to his 95 he taught at the university and was a mentor to younger doctors during major operations.

He met his wife at Glendale Adventist Hospital in 1948 when he was 35 and Barbara 21.

“Once I went out with him, the younger men didn’t quite do it,” Barbara, 86, told FoxNews.com. “He arrived at the door with flowers and tickets to the Light Opera. I thought he was a keeper at the time.”
