Eugenol is the main component and it has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Grind a few cloves in order to get ½ tbsp. of powder and then mix it with few drops of olive oil. Apply it on gums and remove with warm water after 5 minutes.
Black Tea bags
Black tea is rich in tannic acid which is great for removing harmful bacteria. It also reduces swelling. Place the freshly used tea bag onto the gums and leave it for 15 minutes. Repeat it twice a day and rinse with water.
Curcumin in turmeric is a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. It also removes any bacteria. Mix turmeric powder with water into a paste and apply it on the gums. Leave it for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water and repeat the process twice a week.
